The conversation lasted only a few minutes. A friend, Carson, was telling me about a restaurant he’d been to recently. I’ve known Carson for years. In all those years I’ve never heard him talk about another restaurant. I’m sure he’s been to some. Probably to many over the years. But, there was something that stood out to him about this particular place. It wasn’t just good, they went above and beyond and it was a great experience. In just a few moments I was sold. He should do a commercial for them!
I thought about the conversation and how it relates to C3 Church. It’s why we do things the way we do them. What people experience the moment they pull into the parking lot, as they approach the buildings, check in their kids, and enter our main service… everything is done in an intentional way to go beyond expectations. When people leave after a Sunday at C3 they talk about what they’ve experienced. With their neighbors, work associates, friends, classmates, and others they will have brief conversations that only last a few minutes. C3, because of the way you serve and the atmosphere’s you create each week, people can’t help but talk about it. I’m grateful to be a part of a church that understands that every single person matters infinitely to our God so they deserve our best – a great experience. Its why people flock to C3!
Next Sunday you will create a memorable experience for a ton of people who will find hope in a relationship with Jesus. Until then, invest and invite!
(by the way, the restaurant Carson told me about was this one).
