If you’re a part of the C3 movement, this is for you (if you’re part of another church, then do this for your church - if you can’t, find a church where you can).
You know it’s our culture to love God and love others - to go after people who are far from God. This Sunday we’re finishing our “Bodacious ’80’s” series. The message this week is one that every single person we know needs to hear. Would you purpose to invite as many people as possible, between now and Saturday night, to come to C3 Sunday morning.
I’m not talking about your friend who goes to another church… I’m talking about your friends who don’t go (or you don’t know if they go). It’s simple - “Hey, you’ve got to come check out my church this weekend. I think you’ll love it - it’s not like anything you’ve seen or heard of before.“ That’s it. Just a simple invitation. If they ask questions, answer them. Then let them know you’ll meet them in front of the theaters, or in the lobby -wherever they’re comfortable with.
There are people who you and I know that we’ve prayed for, thought about, talked to some - this is the week to get them there. Invest and invite - it makes a difference because it changes a life.

Tomorrow we continue “Bodacious ’80’s”. That’s one day away! Today, Invest and Invite… and be there five minutes earlier - just five minutes, you don’t want to miss any of the service tomorrow. Last week we talked about “Something To Believe In” - who do you know that’s looking for that? Who will you bring with you tomorrow? At C3 we’re “right where YOU are” so God can change lives. I can’t wait!
This Sunday at C3 we continue in the movement of over 1,400 churches around the world in “One Prayer.” Last week was “Make Us Wake Up.” This will we’ll go further… deeper… for more. Don’t miss Sunday - and don’t forget to invest and invite. The numbers last week reminded us that people will come to church - even in the summer - when invited. Pass those bands out - pray and invite!

Today we has our “pre-launch” for the “One Prayer” series. I just love C3! Our numbers were up and the atmosphere was electric.
C3 - remember this week to take your One Prayer bands with you - let’s see what God sees as we’re intentionally looking for people to pray for and invite to C3 next Sunday. Next Sunday we’re kicking off One Prayer hearing from Ed Young of Fellowship Church in Grapevine, TX. I’m pumped about his message and how God’s used it already in my life - I know he’ll use it in yours as well.
Pastors - I’ve gotten some emails asking if we submitted a message for One Prayer… YES. There was a glitch on their end in the upload so we had to send the message by mail - it will be up soon.
Tomorrow, who will you see, who will you pray for, who will you invite?

There are moments in life when we have unique opportunities. Moments that are stacked in our favor. Times when we seem to have an edge that’s not normally there.
To a degree, this week holds unique opportunity for the Christ-follower. As we roll into Easter Sunday those around us are more willing to think about Christ than most days. People you and I live around, go to school with, work with, etc. are far more open to the idea of going to church next Sunday. We need to seize the moment.
A moment that may not come again in someones life for a long time. A moment that could bring new life and freedom to someone who is struggling and hurting. A moment that could change a life and even a family forever. Lives will be radically changed and taken to the next level of living.
Questions:
- What lives will be changed?
- Who will come to C3 this Sunday because of your investment in a relationship with them, and invitation to experience something new and fresh?
- How many people can you invite today?
- Who will thank you later because you took the time to care - not to judge - just to care enough to invite them to an experience that will impact them forever?
- To C3′ers - How could you possibly think of coming to worship on Easter Sunday without having invited as many people as possible? I know that’s not who you are. It’s our DNA to “Connect the Community with Christ.”
So, take today - it’s all you’ve got - and invest and invite like crazy. I believe Christ has strategically placed you in relationships with people who desperately need to know his love, forgiveness, grace and mercy - people who are searching… looking - being drawn by him and may not even realize it. And, you’re the catalyst God desires to use to bring them to himself and to their new life.
If our future is built on reaching people far from God, if we don’t reach them we have no future. It’s Wednesday… Easter is coming… what would Jesus do today? Get after it! Don’t let a moment pass you by that could change someones life forever…
