C3 church was born through an intensive and strategic transition.  God put a desire in Pastor Byron’s heart to lead a church that was truly reaching people far from God and helping them to become full followers of Christ.  The result was a total church transition from an established, institutional church that was averaging 1,500 on Sunday mornings to a new movement.  Everything changed.

In this process we learned some valuable lessons.  Things like the importance of leadership, the necessity of a healthy structure, the value of taking risks and so much more.  Let’s be honest, most churches are plateaued or declining.  Even many that are considered to be growing churches are really having very little impact in reaching the unchurched… they’re experiencing transfer growth.  What if the church could be more?  What if we could actually become the church God had in mind?  What if we could gain relevance and traction in our culture?  We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.
