It’s here! Registration for the Xcel Experience is now open. The Xcel Experience will be this October - so to get the incredible rate of only $79 per person register early (and, for all participants, spouses can attend free of charge!).
I’m really jacked about this unique experience that will include a behind-the-scenes look at C3 Church and how we flow on Sundays, to meaningful main sessions and rockin’ break-outs.
Today we launched “You Asked” @ C3 Church. I love the passion of the people of C3 to pursue Christ and lean into him rather than tradition. I’m tired but wanted to crank out a few thoughts:
Today’s question was, “Can A Christ-follower Drink Alcohol?” - if you’re interested in today’s flow, check out C3’s site and listen to the message - it will be up by Tuesday afternoon.
When you deal with potentially divisive issues, you have to make a decision. You have to decide if your purpose is to please people or God. You also have to remember that you speak for God, his truth, to people he is crazy in love with… so you better come from a perspective of love.
Several people made decisions to become Christ-followers this morning.
It’s hard to change your mind. Honestly, there are issues that I’ve wrestled with and it’s really tough to abandon what you’ve been taught to embrace truth. Not because of what people think, but because I’m a husband and dad before I’m a pastor. I desire to love my bride and raise my kids from the depth of truth, not the facade of traditions.
I’m headed to Texas this week for a family reunion. Excited about seeing family, dreading the drive…
Next weekend we continue “You Asked” @ C3 with “Why Do Bad Things Happen?”
I hope you’re ready for summer… it’s here! This weekend at C3 Church we are kicking off a brand new series called “You Asked.” We’re going to be dealing with a few questions that many people seem to have. Here’s the flow:
- Can A Christ-follower Drink Alcohol?
- Why Do Bad Things Happen?
- Can I Lose My Salvation?
Then, on June 21 we’re going to wrap the series up with a special worship experience.
“You Asked” is going to be a very compelling series, so be sure to invest in relationships and invite people… seriously, many of them will come if we’ll just ask!
It’s just part of our reality. We don’t like to think about it, but it’s coming. None of us know how many days we have in this life. We hope for long, healthy and happy lives but in light of eternity our time here is brief. So, if death is something we’ll all have to face, what will it be like? Is hell a real place? What about heaven? This Sunday at C3 Church we’re going to launch a brand new series, “So You’re Dead… Now What?”. We’ll put some fears to rest, and look at a huge truth that can re-define life.
I’m still recovering from being blown away yesterday @ C3 Church. To think that just over a year ago we launched at Regal Cinemas and it that time hundreds of people have become Christ-followers. It really blows my mind… and, we’re just getting started. Sunday we wrapped up “Right Where YOU Are” and we hit a record attendance of 843!
This weekend we’ll launch a brand new series, “So You’re Dead… Now What?”. The afterlife is cloaked in mystery. What happens moments after we die? What is Heaven really like? What about Hell? And does what we do in this world really matter in the next? Join us as we uncover the life-altering answers to these questions in the series “So You’re Dead…Now What?” April 19, 26 and May 3. Don’t miss it… and invite people like crazy!
