I love how kids think (if you haven’t watched the video, check it out and you’ll see what I mean).
One of the many things I love about C3 Church is that our volunteers have created environments that kids love. It’s constantly being said that kids are asking their parents, “Is it Sunday yet?” because they want to be at C3. Wow… It wasn’t like that when I was growing up. And, it’s still not like that everywhere. We know the stats. By the time a child reaches 18 they bolt from church, often to never come back. That’s not the whole story. There are also many parents who force their kids to go to church, even though they, as adults, secretly wish they didn’t have to go. I just don’t believe that’s the kind of movement God had in mind when he created the church. Church, after all, was God’s idea.
It’s just something I thank God for every week. I love that kids love to come to C3. I love that our volunteers who serve in C3’s children’s ministry work hard to help kids love Jesus and His church. As a Dad, I really love that kids who’ve been a part of C3 want to serve as soon as they’re old enough. All four of my kids serve through C3… and I’ve never asked one of them to do it. It’s just what they love to do because they love Jesus and His church. Those of you who serve in Children’s Ministry, I can’t thank you enough for the invest you make in young lives.
So, if you’re a parent in Central Florida and you don’t regularly attend church, I’d like to invite you to check out C3 this Sunday. Your kids will also get to participate in the biggest honkin’ Easter Egg Hunt in movie theater history – your whole family is gonna love it!
Don’t let this be your story . We have a few days left to invite, let’s do it C3 Church!
Hey C3, we’ve been talking about this for weeks. This week is full of huge opportunities. I know you’re praying for people and inviting like crazy and I also know God is going to bless those efforts. Next weekend as we celebrate Easter at C3 its going to be incredible. So let’s make this week count. I’m asking you to invite at least one person a day everyday this week to join us for Easter. Light it up on Facebook, Twitter, phone calls, emails, text messages, and through conversations because 8 out of 10 people you invite will say “yes”!
Who needs you this week?
