Just a few…

Posted on September 28th, 2008.

I’m wiped out tonight.  Here are a few things on my mind before I crash:

  • I love my bride so much.  I’m grateful for her influence in my life, kids and church.
  • The atmosphere was great this morning at C3 but our attendance was down.
  • Dallas stinks
  • FSU doesn’t
  • Florida – that’s just hilarious
  • Praying through some major decisions
  • I’ve challenged the people of C3 to bring a special offering next Sunday and bring a guest as celebrate the 1st anniversary of the sale of the old campus.
  • I can’t wait for next Sunday morning, seriously I need it now!
  • Baptism tonight was great – I love hearing people’s stories and hanging out with them.
  • Christmas will be here soon – I love Christmas.
  • Dallas stinks.
  • and finally, Dallas stinks.

Dallas doesn’t really stink… Don’t worry they will bounce back, I still think they’ll win the Super Bowl!

But on a more serious note, Your message today was INCREDIBLE! God challenged me in so many ways, and your honesty really opened my eyes to some things that I had decided to close them to. Thank You for loving God and loving us, I thank God for you and your leadership daily.

…and… GO REBELS!(at least that’s what we yelled when they beat UF)

Dallas rocks!!! We love Dallas! I have a prayer request. Im at work now and there is a little boy who is in desperate need of a heart transplant. He was first denied the transplant due to family income. He is a twin to a family with no financial ability to visit there son while he gets his transplant or the ability to take him to all his follow up appts. Finally last week the family meet with doctors in tampa who agreed to put him as top priority on their list. He is a neonate, only 1 month old. Finding hearts this small is very rare. Tonight God answered all our prayers. Everyone at work was crying. We recieved a call from Tampa around midnight. He had a heart that matched! This was a one in a million chance because of his size, being premature. No joking one in a million chance if that! Now we need to pray that his body does not reject the heart. This is the biggest obstical over the next year! Please pray for his body to accept the new heart. Thanks! God is so amazing! We all said last week we expected him to die and never get a heart, now look!
