Answered Prayer
Posted on May 19th, 2008.Today God answered a prayer. I know he answered many, but there was one that was extremely important to me. Years ago, when I traveled a ton and was gone from my family much of each week, I asked God to allow me to be present when each of my kids became Christ-followers. Today, years later God answered that prayer. Kayleigh, Ashley and Nate are already believers. This afternoon, Ethan prayed to follow Christ. Not only did God allow me to be present, but over the years Angie and I have gotten to lead each of our kids to Christ and pray with them in that moment.
I’ve never been more grateful.

Byron, that is so wonderful!!! I can say one of the most exciting things I’ve had the privilege of doing was baptizing Sarah and Kaley. I now prayerfully await the day when I’ll get to do the same for Craig. Praise God for our children confessing faith in Christ!

How wonderful! I remember when Natalie prayed to follow Christ and then finished Great Adventures. When she was asked who did she want to Baptist her she said “Nates’ dad”
