I decided during this vacation to “unplug” from technology for the most part – it’s been a good thing. This time has been a blast for me and the “re-charge” that I needed. One of the many highlights was Texas Stadium – WOW! I’m also still so impressed with how awesome our kids were and the great work they did in Southeast Texas.

Sunday night I got one of those phone calls that make you think. We we’re wrapping up vacation in the mountains of North Arkansas (one of my favorite places to go to get away) and the call came. My Grandfather had just passed away. So, Monday morning we loaded up and headed back to Texas. Some time ago he had asked me to handle the grave-side service. He pastored the same church for over 40 years – he’s been retired for many years now. We’re back in Texas and still enjoying family time (even more – life is precious).

It’s been a good break for me from the pace of day-to-day C3 life. However, I am pumped about getting back and all that’s happening – it’s going to be an amazing fall. I hope you’re ready for all that’s coming – INVEST and INVITE!
